Maintaining a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated. Over the years, I’ve found a few staple foods, products, and one game-changing appliance that makes it super easy for me to stay on track with my healthy eating goals. These aren’t just any products—they’re things I use daily or at least weekly to help me manage my energy, avoid bloating, and keep sugar cravings at bay. Plus, they make life easier, more enjoyable, and they’re all delicious!

In this post, I’m sharing my top 5 must-haves that keep me feeling great, and I swear by each of them to help me stay on track.

1. Slow Cooker

Let me tell you—this appliance has been a game changer! I used to have one years ago, but for some reason, I stopped using it. Fast forward to now, I’m back on the slow-cooker train, and I’m absolutely obsessed! It makes meal prepping a breeze.

For me, one of the hardest things about cooking healthy meals is time. After a long day of work, the last thing I want to do is stand in the kitchen for hours. With the slow cooker, I can prepare meals ahead of time and come home to something delicious and healthy.

My go-to recipes include a Slow-Cooked Beef Ragu and Low-Carb Butter Chicken—both are freezer-friendly, making it easy to have meals ready for when I don’t feel like cooking. The slow cooker saves me time, keeps me on track, and makes it easy to have home-cooked meals that are healthy and delicious.

Tip: I always make extra to freeze portions for later. That way, I have healthy meals on hand, even on the busiest days. You can find the slow cooker I use, along with these recipes, in the links at the bottom of this post.

2. Slendier Legume Pasta

If you follow me on Instagram or in my programs, you know how much I love pasta—but not just any pasta. I’m all about the Slendier Legume Pasta. It’s gluten-free, high in protein, and packed with fiber, which makes it an easy swap for regular pasta without the bloat or sugar spike.

I have it at least once or twice a week, sometimes even three times! It’s filling, easy to prepare, and super versatile for a range of dishes. My favorite is the 5-Minute Pesto & Broccoli Pasta (find the recipe in my 15-Minute Meals eBook). This legume-based pasta makes me feel like I’m not missing out, which helps me stick to my goals and keeps my meals satisfying and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for an easy, tasty swap for regular pasta, you have to try it. It’s available at Coles, Woolworths, or online.

3. Before You Speak Coffee

Let’s be real—I’m not the friendliest person in the morning until I’ve had my coffee. And that’s why Before You Speak Coffee has become a part of my daily routine. It’s super convenient, comes in single-serve sachets, and gives me a steady energy boost without the jitters or crash that regular coffee can cause.

Whether I’m at home or traveling, I love how easy it is to just rip open a sachet, pour it into some hot water, and I’m good to go. It also has added benefits—like turmeric and black pepper—which provide anti-inflammatory properties and help the body absorb nutrients. Plus, it’s super low in calories and sugar-free, which fits perfectly into my healthy lifestyle.

I’ve been a fan for years, and if you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it. I’ve included a discount code “HEALTHWITHBEC” for 10% off in the links below if you want to give it a go!

4. Morlife Mug Cakes

Who doesn’t love dessert for breakfast? Thanks to Morlife Mug Cakes, I can enjoy a sweet, protein-packed treat after my workouts and still stay on track. These mug cakes are gluten-free, sugar-free, and packed with 20 grams of protein per serving.

I collaborated with Morlife to create these cakes, so they’re fully in line with the principles I follow and teach in my programs. They help me hit my protein goals, keep me full, and, most importantly, taste amazing. I whip one up in less than three minutes—perfect for when I need a quick, healthy meal or snack that feels indulgent but keeps me on track.

The best part? They satisfy my sweet tooth without any added sugar, so I don’t feel the need to reach for unhealthy snacks throughout the day. These mug cakes are a staple in my routine!

5. Morlife Protein Powder

When I’m not having a mug cake, Morlife Protein Powder is my go-to for smoothies, protein balls, or stirring into yogurt with berries for a quick, high-protein meal or snack. It’s versatile, tastes delicious, and makes it easy to meet my protein needs throughout the day.

Whether you’re blending it into a smoothie or using it to make protein-packed pancakes, it helps keep you full, maintain muscle mass, and avoid those afternoon sugar crashes. My favorite flavors are Vanilla Fudge and Chocolate Caramel Swirl, and I’ve shared a discount code “HEALTHWITHBEC” for 15% off their products in the links below.

Bonus Tip: Frozen Berries

I also keep frozen berries stocked in my freezer at all times! They’re a lifesaver when I need something sweet without the extra calories. I’ll add them to yogurt, my mug cakes, or even have them plain with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Berries are packed with fiber, antioxidants, and they help balance blood sugar—keeping sugar cravings at bay.

If you’re trying to reduce sugar cravings or need a healthy sweet snack, keeping berries in your freezer is a game changer.

If you want to try any of the products I mentioned, I’ve included links and discount codes below. Let me know if you give them a try!
